What is a Scoring Quiz?
You can use scoring quizzes to test someone’s knowledge of a topic or use it to simply segment them into different categories.
In a scoring quiz, the result is based on the total number of points the quiz takers get. You can set up point values for each answer choice. The final outcome is determined by total points scored.

Say you want to create a quiz where:
You can easily do this using SQB's scoring quiz feature! There are 2 main types of scoring quizzes you can create using SQB.
Say you want to award points when users pick a specific answer but there are no correct or incorrect answers. You just want to place them into a specific category based on the scoring range. You want to segment your users into different categories based on their answers.
In this case, all you have to do is create a scoring quiz and turn OFF the "correct answer" display in SQB >> Quizzes >> Display Settings tab and just assign points to each answer choice in the question screen.
Say you want to create an assessment type of quiz to test someone’s knowledge of a topic but the final outcome is based on "total points scored". It's not based on total number of correct answers.
In this case, all you have to do is create a scoring quiz with correct answer display turned ON. You can configure SQB to display correct/incorrect answers on each question screen or just on the final outcome screen. The final outcome is based on total points scored.
